Nagle Rice draws inspiration from the 150 years of dedication and service given by the Presentation Sisters and the Christian Brothers to the people of Doneraile and the surrounding areas. Nagle Rice Secondary School was officially opened in 1993. The previous schools had been managed by the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters.
Nagle Rice Secondary School is a voluntary Catholic School under the trusteeship of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST).
Vision: Promoting full personal and social development in caring Christian communities of learning and teaching.
Mission: To provide Catholic education in the Edmund Rice tradition.
